Sean M. Byrne, Esq.
Sean M. Byrne, Esq. is a trusts, estates, and real property attorney who combines an accomplished background in law, government, and media relations with his advocacy for senior citizens. Sean augments Bach & Jacobs’ practice in wills, trusts, estate planning, guardianship, and probate litigation. Sean holds a JD from The American University in Washington, DC, where he graduated cum laude. Sean received a BS in Political Science and Economics from Texas Lutheran University, graduating magna cum laude with honors.
Prior to joining Bach & Jacobs, Sean was the in-house counsel for the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast where he provided options to landowners, high net worth individuals, and their financial advisors seeking to reduce federal income taxes and local property taxes through land conservation and philanthropy. Sean Byrne worked his way through law school at a trusts and estates law firm while attending classes. While a law student, Sean authored an article on estate planning for the elderly that was published by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys following a nationwide competition. His writings about the tax incentives of conservation easements have also been published by the Sarasota County Bar Association’s The Docket.
Sean is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Counsel, Leadership Sarasota County, the Sarasota County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division. He is also a director on several community boards and is a lecturer on topics relating to the tax and financial advantages of land conservation.
Sherri Fritz, FRP
Sherri, a Florida Registered Paralegal, has worked in the field of Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate and Public Benefits. She has been working in the legal community since 2004. Sherri also has a background in Advertising and Management of Fulfillment Operations.
Sherri was born in Stoughton, Massachusetts and she was raised in Brockton, Massachusetts. She moved to New Hampshire where she graduated from Profile Jr./Sr. High School and thereafter graduated from Granite State College. After college, Sherri and her husband, a Venice Florida native, moved to Florida for the warm weather and tropical scenery.
Sherri loves spending quality time with her family and friends, especially her young son. You can find Sherri enjoying outdoor fun and sports, out on a motorcycle ride, or taking in a good movie.
Dena F. DeGarmo, FRP
Dena DeGarmo, who is a Florida Registered Paralegal, has over 22 years legal experience, with the majority of her experience in Probate and Estate Planning, Elder Law, Corporate and Family Law.
Originally from western Kentucky, she moved to Clearwater, Florida in 1992, and has lived in North Port for the past several years. She holds the distinguished honor of being a “Kentucky Colonial.”
Dena likes to be involved in her community. While living in Pinellas County she served on the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Task Force for 7 years. She currently holds the position of Senior Regent of the North Port Women of the Moose.
Dena has a son who lives in Colorado and a daughter living in Clearwater. She has always loved animals, especially cats, and she has a rescued Pomeranian mix and three cats. She enjoys traveling, reading, a wide variety of crafts, memory preservation through scrapbooking, and she is a certified SCUBA diver.
